Introduction:

Are you a snow kind of person? If you like snow then come join our snow tour to Harbin and Snow Town which will bring you the wonderful scenery of northeast China. We will bring you a unique and interesting White Christmas that you will never experience in Shanghai. Harbin, best known among travelers for the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival, this unique city and its surroundings are starting to gain fame for other qualities, from the distinct Russian architecture of the former Church of St. Sophia now home to the Harbin Archictecture and Art Center) to the ski resort at nearby Yabuli and the "gallery of European architecture" (which also features plenty of great examples of Chinese styles) found along Zhongyang Dajie, a cobblestone-paved pedestrian street. Snow Town, regarded as the most beautiful village in winter in China is like a village in fairy tale. House, pastures, mountains and trees are covered by snow, a sea of whiteness.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Harbin

Our journey begins at an early morning flight to Harbin. We will visit Harbin city for rest of the day and enjoy a welcoming dinner of the local cuisine that is an intriguing blend of Russian and northern Chinese. Overnight hotel.

Day 2: Harbin to Dongsheng

After breakfast we will drive 5 hours to Dongsheng, a village where we begin the hike to Snow Town. Along the way to the Dongsheng, you can appreciate the white world covered with snow. In Dongsheng, your memory of childhood will be evoked when you have the snowball fighting, and make the snowman. Overnight guest house. You will have the chance to sleep on a special bed ‘Kang’-- a heated bed, which uses corn stalks as fuel to heat up inside of the bed.

Day 3: Dongsheng to Snow Town Hike

After breakfast we will have a 5-hour hike from Dongsheng to Snow Town. It’s like a hike in the wonderland. When we get to Snow Town village we will prepare for the Christmas Eve Party. Bring a Christmas stocking for your Christmas gifts! Party till very late. Overnight guest house.

Day 4: Snow Town

Today we will visit the Snow Town and its surroundings, and of course ski in Bayi Ski Resort. Overnight guest house.

Day 5: Snow Town to Harbin. Fly home.

We will drive 5 hours back to Harbin and fly home. Trip ends.

The cost of each trip will normally cover the following:
